We were awarded the contract to supply the Frere Hospital Laundry with the latest state-of-the-art Mediline 10 compartment Continuous Batch Washing system, complete with press, 3 x tumble dryers and automatic detergent dosing station. The entire system can process a Ton of laundry per hour to the highest world medical standards guaranteeing disinfection of the machine after use. This, together with the barrier wall that has been built in the laundry ensures that there is no cross contamination between dirty and clean laundry.
Frere Hospital is a large, provincial, government-funded hospital situated in East London, Eastern Cape. It was established in 1881 and is a tertiary teaching hospital. Frere Hospital is named after Sir Henry Bartle Frere, Governor of the Cape Colony from 1877 to 1880.
