All eyes on Basel: Explore the new Bardusch laundry!
2022
A few years ago, the management of Bardusch’s Basel branch was planning a laundry layout with an ambitious goal: enormous cost savings. In a first phase, a new workwear system and a new washroom section were installed. There is a whole armada of robots that automatically sort flat linen and garments. Here, state-of-the-art logistics technologies increase productivity, as well as safety and well-being of the operators.
The targets were definitely exceeded – space requirements went down and productivity went up. The system keeps up the speed of the linen flow, because optimizing the linen flow increases the output of all machines.
